I am Tanya McKibben, Licensed Esthetician & Licensed Electrologist and Owner of Balance Skin Care & Electrolysis.

With over 20 years of hands-on experience, I specialize in clinical, results driven skincare and permanent hair removal through electrolysis. I've built my practice on the belief that every client deserves personalized care, expert guidance, and results.

My Story
I became an esthetician in 2003 after discovering how powerful skin care can be- not just in transforming skin, but in building confidence. Over the years, my passion for helping people feel good in their own skin has only grown stronger. I more recently added to my skills by attending The Monterey Bay Institute of Electrology.

I have been married for 20 years and live with my family as a mom of 3 kids in the beautiful Santa Cruz mountains. The balance between work and life is important to me - when I am not in the treatment room, you'll find me hiking in the redwoods, planning my next girls' trip, or exploring new places with my family. Travel and connection fill me up, and I bring that same energy of care, presence, and curiosity to my work.
